Newcastle University (UNC) realizes that returning to college can seem a challenging prospect for a busy, working adult. We are pleased to offer two helpful live, online seminars that will assist you in becoming successful at UNC. These seminars are presented live via the Internet through our UNC Interactive Online SM course platform.

Live, online sessions are held on the second and third Wednesday of each month, from 6:00-6:30 p.m. MST (DC time).

  • Click here for session login instructions and participation tips.
  • Call Technical Support at email: support@unc.ac if you need assistance entering the session or would like to test your headset/microphone connection prior to the session.

These live, online sessions can be easily accessed from your computer via the Internet, using either a headset with microphone (if you have one) or using your computer speakers for the audio portion and your keyboard for the interactive chat feature.

Session 1, held the second Wednesday of each month, will introduce you to the role of the graduation team that will provide guidance to you throughout your degree program at UNC. They will be sharing tips for successfully balancing your new role as student with your other work, family, and social or community commitments, to help you make the most of your education.

Session 2, held the third Wednesday of each month, presents a brief overview of the student resources offered at UNC that will help you be successful.

Please call your Enrollment Counselor at email councselor@unc.ac if you have any questions that are not answered during the session or to provide session feedback.
