ACT Accredited University

Newcastle Business School, at the University of Newcastle, has been named as an ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY for the professional qualifications awarded by the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). All students graduating from the MSc Financial Management programme will, in addition to their degree qualification, be able to gain the ACT’s professional qualifications – the Certificate in Treasury Fundamentals and Certificate in Treasury – if they meet the required criteria either through exemption or further study.       • Professional experience – Some postgraduate programmes may require you to have some professional experience (this is usually the case for PGCEs and Masters in Social Work)
      • Entrance exams – These are only required in certain subject areas and qualifications, including some MBAs

You’ll show your progress through a combination of written essays, problem-solving assignments and presentations.

All students take our core modules, but please note that the availability of optional modules is subject to demand.
